Jackpotjoy: National Bingo Day

Overview: 

Jackpotjoy was asked to take part in the first-ever celebration of National Bingo Day (NBD) in the UK. This was a huge cross-functional effort where a full 360 experience was created for customers. 

Objective for social

To create awareness of NBD highlighting the activities happening on site and make more winners (of course!).  

Execution: 

The campaign started a week prior to NBD, ensuring maximum exposure. Along with organic, paid was used to support the effort.

Three key content pillars were created to bring the celebration to life: 

Awareness – for NBD, so players knew what other activities were happening on-site & to change players’ behaviour with social for one day.  

Topical – to boost general conversation and build awareness.

Live – at JPJ we ran weekly live game shows, for NBD we decided to go all out and do a 1hr special – with a share of £1,000 up for grabs, a total first!

Result: 

Overall, the players were really engaged & enjoyed the content. Players were aware of NBD, had fun & couldn’t wait for next year! We increased impressions by 20%, winners by 155% & visits to site by 186%.
